A great client with $130 million to spend on unadulterated fun. The online spot
“Girl Talk”, while blurring the line between porn and advertising, was part of an integrated effort aimed at the frat-boy crowd—not the typical Nintendo audience at the time. We created everything from an adult “coloring book” (pages seen here) to urinal mats to condom packages, and picked up 2 Gold Lions at Cannes for our use of alternative media. The video was #1 on AdCritic for 6 weeks and wound up a finalist in London’s D&AD show—proof that poor taste transcends all boundaries.
